Chicory on the Yellowstone

Brief description: This wonderful home enjoys a great location up on the hill overlooking the Yellowstone River. A fairly steep slope takes you down to the riverfront backyard where there is room for kids to play or to have a picnic by the river. A hot tub on the back patio completes the picture!

Bedrooms and baths: The master bedroom is on the main level, with a queen size bed and a private adjoining bath with a shower. This main level bathroom can also be accessed from the living area and contains the washer and dryer for the home. Upstairs there is a second bedroom with bunk beds and an adjoining full bath with a tub and shower. Off the bunk room there is a small loft area that works as the TV room for the home. The loft area is set up with a day bed and an easy chair. The day bed is a trundle that converts to a king size bed. The home can accommodate up to six guests.

TV room: There is also a walk in basement that has a TV and a sofa bed that is accessed from the outside of the home.

Kitchen and dining area: The complete kitchen, with dishwasher, range, microwave and all the cookware, will have everything you need. The dining room table will seat six or head on out to the deck and enjoy your meal while enjoying the river view. There is a gas barbecue on the deck for outdoor cooking.

Living room A beautiful rock fireplace is the focal point of the living room, with cozy yet classy furniture arrangement for your evening relaxation. The living and dining areas feature huge windows to take advantage of the river views. The home has a wrap around deck to extend the living area outdoors with a picnic table.

Setting, acreage, views: Chicory on the Yellowstone is on about two acres. This home is located in a small neighborhood. The Yellowstone River flows just below the home.

Activities nearby: Fishing on the Yellowstone River is literally out the back door. Rent a driftboat, canoe or raft and plan your own adventures on the Yellowstone. Other nearby activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, and Yellowstone Park is just 45 minutes away. Chico Hot Springs has world class dining and great soaking just a few minutes down the road. The town of Livingston is 20 minutes away with a great selection of restaurants, galleries and shopping and Bozeman is just over the hill. Winter visitors can enjoy cross country skiing in the beautiful Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone Park. There is so much to do!

Distance to airport: The Bozeman airport is about an hour drive from the home.
