Brief Description: The Bunkhouse is small and efficient, but it has everything you'll need including a big hot tub right out the door. Set on a hillside in the upper Madison Valley, the expansive views both down across the valley and up to the looming Madison Mountains are truly spectacular. A hike out the back door gets you up into the high peaks, and a short drive to the valley will get you on to the upper Madison River for fishing or to Cliff and Wade Lakes for boating and lake fishing. Then home again to your cozy retreat.

Bedrooms and baths: The studio cabin has one California King bed and two sets of twin bunks, for a total of five beds. There is one bathroom with a stall shower.

Kitchen: The kitchen has everything you'll need for being self-sufficient. There's a range, oven and microwave, as well as a dishwasher and a full set of small appliances. There is also a gas barbecue for your outdoor grilling.

Dining area: There's a dining table that will seat six comfortably. There is also a picnic table in the yard for outdoor dining on summer days.

Living room: The cozy living room has a free standing gas fireplace for chilly evenings. There's a television with satellite service, and a great selection of family movies for enjoying after a day of exploring.

Setting, acreage, and views: The Bunkhouse shares a 40 acre parcel with the property's main house, where the owners live. It's set on a sunny mountainside, affording you stunning views of the valley in one direction, and the peaks of the Madison Range in the other.

Outdoor Amenities: The Bunkhouse has patios on three sides so you're sure to enjoy sun, shade and all the views. There's a picnic table, a porch swing and glider, and a hot tub plenty big enough for the whole gang.

Activities nearby: Besides hiking, horseback riding, and fishing on the Madison River and nearby lakes, you're not far from Harriman Ranch State Park or Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. And a must do is a visit to Yellowstone National Park, which is just about 25 miles away.

Closest town and airport: You are 25 miles from the small town of West Yellowstone, 107 miles to the Idaho Falls airport, and 110 miles to the Bozeman airport.
