The Centennial Inn

Located two miles south of Livingston, The Centennial Inn sits on a 13 acre river front property in a canyon between the Gallatin and Absaroka Mountains. This turn of the century Northern Pacific railcar has seen the country as a railway express, U.S. rolling post office and as an Old West attraction at the 1964 New York World's Fair representing Montana during Montana's territorial centennial.

The Centennial is now a luxurious Victorian accommodation for overnight guests visiting this beautiful area. Located in a natural wildlife corridor along the Yellowstone River, visitors may view wildlife, swim or fish in the blue ribbon waters, sit around the campfire, BBQ, picnic, hike and enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Inside, visitors find Victorian era replicas and antiques furnishing the entire railcar under sparkling glass chandeliers and the pressed tin ceiling that shines like gold. The Centennial accommodates four people with a master bedroom with an 1880 walnut queen bed and dresser. A second bedroom is furnished with two original railcar twin beds and a dresser. The kitchen is completely outfitted with all the equipment you will need to prepare meals and sit down to dine next to the living area complete with Victorian couches and chairs. The final luxury is a square Italian marble bath/shower with brass fixtures in the charming bathroom.

Open, airy and full of light, The Centennial has been pleasing guests for many years. The meadow between the rail car and the Yellowstone River has become a popular wedding location and the honeymoon begins in the romantic atmosphere of The Centennial.
