Wildlife Watching From Your Living Room!

📷 @pbauchmanphotography Traveling the south part of the Old Yellowstone Trail in Paradise Valley, north of Gardiner, Montana, I watched two Bighorn Rams jump a jack fence and then further down the road, two ewes jumped followed by an amazing leaping lamb. The bigger ram, pictured first, powered over like it was nothing. The little sprite, (swipe left) who is maybe 7 months old, sailed over from the low side with beautiful form. The other ram did more of a jump up to the top rail like it was a ledge on a cliff, balancing there and then dropping down. . . . . . #montanafwp #babyanimals #yellowstonecountry #lovewildlife #distinctlymontana #montanamoment #bigskyresort #montanalife #featured_wildlife #wildlife_photography #wildglobe #live_love_wildlife #wildlifeaddicts #nature_photography #wildplanet #earthcapture #naturephotos #wildlifeonearth #wildlife_vision #wildlifeplanet #discoverwildlife #nature-up-close #wildlife_seekers #global4nature #earthcapture #wildplanet #animalovers #animal_perfection #nature_org #yellowstonecountry

📷@rangerkristine This day was the most magical wolf encounter I've ever had. Along with two other rangers, we first spotted them in Hayden Valley and followed them along the river for miles before losing them. This is what an ancient Yellowstone ecosysten looks like. Did you know that since the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone in 1995, the park is again home to every mammal that inhabited this area when Euopeans first arrived in North America? How many wolves can you count in this image? *Please note this photo was taken using a telephoto lens and then cropped. Be sure to always stay the recommended 100 yards from bears and wolves, and 25 yards from all other wildlife. View responsibly. Taken on the traditional and associated lands of the: Apsaalooké (Crow) Eastern Shoshone Cheyenne Očeti Šakówiŋ (Sioux) #teamcanon #CanonFanPhoto #Yellowstone #NationalPark #NationalParks #ThatsWY #discover_wyoming #Wyomimg #MontanaMoment #Montana #YellowstoneNationalPark #NationalParkGeek #OptOutside #ForceofNature #foreverwild #FindYourPark #letsgosomewhere #OurWild #wheretofindme #postcardsfromtheworld #roamtheplanet #ourplanetdaily #StayWild #VisitTheUSA #OutdoorsUSA #RoadtripUSA #NatGeo #NatGeoWild #NatGeoTravel #beyondyellowstone

📷@pbauchmanphotography Jumping into 2020 with a new way to use all those gazillion shots taken on continuous shooting mode at 10 frames per second... An animated gif which is then converted to an mp4 file. 😯 I photographed this Junction Butte wolf pup in Yellowstone in early November (600mm and cropped in) and posted a few photos, but this sequence of him jumping up and down at a trail head sign deserved a little fun. The last shot, with one ear cocked back, was taken just as a Yellowstone staff individual was revving up her car to begin hazing techniques on him - in the hopes he would not be so comfortable around humans and cars. Two wolf pups with the Junction Butte Pack were killed in the Park November 19th, hit by a car. I do not think this wolf was one of them, but possibly his litter mates. Their den was close to a hiking trail and even though the den area was closed and sectioned off, not everyone respected that barrier. The pups got too accustomed to being around people. . . . . . #wolf #wolves #yellowstonenps #wildlife #wildlifeig #nationalparkservice #usinterior #national_park_photography #yellowstoneforever #montana #wildplanet #yellowstonepledge #wildlifeonearth #wildlife_vision #nationalparkgeek #wildlife_seekers #wildlifeaddicts #global4nature #animalovers #animal_perfection #featured_wildlife #nature_org #wildlifephotography #animal-captures #bigskymontana #exlorebigsky #yellowstonecountry #natgeoyourshot #funnyanimals

📷@1_naturephoto A herd of Bison jumping the fence. A little side note story on why I do photography. I don’t do it for the money (there’s isn’t much in it lol). I do photography for PTSD reasons. Photography has been an amazing outlet to help with certain issues. Having gone through some dramatic moments (multiple combat tours, cancer, being injured in combat etc)in my life has been impacting, but photography was a way for me to come out of my shell and do more. I have always encourage people that I meet to try it out, sometimes I even offer to help those beginners out on how to use a camera and ways to capture landscape and wildlife. If you know someone or you are just reading this and you need an idea that can help, I encourage you to try out photography. Go out and explore and see what you can get with your phone or DSLR or whatever you have. At the end of the day you will realize you saw and captured more than you excepted. #bison #wonderlustcollective #grandtetons #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstoneclub #adventureenthusiasts #usinterior #trekkingtoes #wyoming #visitwyoming #wyominglife #wildlife #wildlifeonearth #wildlifephotography #visualambassadors #earthpix #fantasic_earth #wondermore #merknmountains #welivetoexplore #earthofficial #moodnation #veteran #combat #911memorial #spartan
