West Yellowstone through the park loop to Gardiner

Starting from West Yellowstone, head into Yellowstone National Park through the West Entrance. The Two Ribbons Trail is one of the first hiking trails you will come across and a great place to spot birds and enjoy the view of the Madison River.
Head south after Madison Junction Campground. See Firehole Falls before heading into the Geyser Basin to see the many hot springs, geysers, and trails that Yellowstone National Park is known for.
After visiting Old Faithful, head east and traverse the Continental Divide twice before coming to the West Thumb of Yellowstone Lake. Stop at Yellowstone Lake for fishing and many things to do. Lake Village and Fishing Bridge are right next to the Museum and Visitor Center.

From there, follow the Yellowstone River north to Sulphur Cauldron and Mud Volcano. Proceed to Canyon Village and stop at the education center. The views from here are one of a kind. Continue north to the Tower-Roosevelt area of the park. At the Roosevelt Lodge and Cabins area, there are Stagecoach Adventures, horseback riding and an Old West Dinner Cookout, which is fun for the whole family.
After an evening of fun, be sure not to miss the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces as you exit the park through the North Entrance. In Gardiner, take the opportunity to stop at the Roosevelt Arch for an unforgettable family photo before heading to Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel for an overnight stay you will not forget.
